 Processor:
Pentium III 800MHz or faster. (Pentium 4 2.0 GHz recommended)
 Free space/Disk Drive:
5+ GB available hard disk space,
UDMA/33 or faster interface required.
 System Memory:
256MB system RAM (512MB or more recommended)
 Video Adapter:
Fully DirectX 8 compatible VGA adapter
with 8MB VRAM (16 MB recommended). TV output support
or scan converter required for output to TV/VCR. ATi
Radeon or NVidia GeForce series cards are recommended
because of excellent product and driver support, however
they are not required.
 IEEE 1394/FireWire:
OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 adapter.
2 ports are required for dual camera capture.
 Removable Media:
CD-ROM required for installation, CD-R
and RW drives are supported for DirectCD archiving.
Most other popular removable media formats are also supported
for archiving.
 Internet:
Internet connection is required for IGA participation
and auto-update feature, DSL/Cable recommended. Internet
connection is not required for V1 operation. Soundcard:
Soundblaster compatible.
 DV camcorder:
Any DV camcorder featuring IEEE 1394
/ FireWire® / DV output. Manually adjustable shutter
speed is highly recommended. Dual camera feature
requires IDENTICAL model camcorders. Be sure to purchase
the correct
cable configuration to connect to your IEEE 1394
port (6pin > 4pin or 4pin > 4pin).
 DV Bridge:
A DV Bridge will convert any analog signal
(analog cameras, VCR output) into a DV compliant
stream for use with V1. The system handles a DV bridge as if
it were a true DV camera. Picture quality is almost
identical to a true DV camera (but will not surpass original source
quality). Dazzle Hollywood DV bridge, and Canopus
DVnt>C-50
and DVnt>C-100 models are supported. Other DV
Bridges may also work. Dual camera feature requires
IDENTICAL
model bridges. Due to design limitations, the DVnt>C-50
cannot be used in combination with another bridge
or camcorder.
 Scan Converter:
Required for output to TV or VCR if your
video adapter does not have a built in TV output.
 PC Microphone:
Required for IGA lesson voiceovers.
 Amplified Microphone:
For audio portion of lesson on
VCR tape. Output must be line-level for connection
to VCR's audio inputs.
 Drawing Tablet:
All Wacom drawing tablets that use the
unified driver are supported. (ArtPad, Graphire,
Intuos, PenPartner). Other tablets may also work, but have
not been tested. |
